This is the new blog I have been talking about. Know that this blog may/will contain some wonderings you may or may not like, agree with, or vehemently disagree with. My purpose is to reflect on the world and everything in it.(Really?) Things theological, philosophical and otherwise. Please accept this as a way for me to communicate thoughtfully (I hope) with friends.
My first wondering is the faith and hope with which people come back to church. It's wonderful to see the hope in their eyes... the smiles after worship is finished... the amazement?... and for some, the pain that they hope God will heal.
A friend's son has just left the rehab program/school he was attending. It's complicated. Please pray for Trevor and his family... that they may be healed and made whole. I cry when I pray for them. Pls join me in prayer.
last wondering for tonight: The choirs opened with Bruckner's Locust Iste this morning, offertory was "I was glad" and I wondered if I could stay where I am for another year. I know you have some thoughts about that. I know Freud would.
